Edfinity HW #5 Due Tue, June 3

I'm having some problems with Edfinity problem #5 that's due on Tuesday, June 3. Here's the situation described in the problem:

Researchers collected data to examine the relationship between air pollutants and preterm births in Southern California. During the study air pollution levels were measured by air quality monitoring stations. Specifically, levels of carbon monoxide were recorded in parts per million, nitrogen dioxide and ozone in parts per hundred million, and coarse particulate matter (PM10) in μg/m3. Length of gestation data were collected on 143,196 births between the years 1989 and 1993, and air pollution exposure during gestation was calculated for each birth.

The problem then asks, which of the following are variables:

A. Year
B. Levels of Carbon Monoxide
C. Births between 1989 and 1993
D. No other Variables
E. Levels of Nitrogen
F. Pre-Term Births
G. Levels of Ozone
H. Air Pollutants

I think that Year, Levels of Carbon Monoxide, Levels of Nitrogen, and Levels of Ozone are also other variables but that gets marked incorrect. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks!
